Stacking the Shelves (6): My Third Vlog

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews to showcase any books that I have received for review, bought, borrowed, or won to read.

  7. Creepy cover on Darkwater! I haven't heard of that one, either. I have heard of What Happens Next ... it sounds really awesome!

I ALWAYS gloss over the maps in books. Always. Maybe I should actually look at them sometime.

    Enjoy your books!

  11. She does look like Merida! haha It's funny that you mention the maps because when I pick up a book and flip it open to see a map I drop it and run! Oooh I had never heard of this bookurious, I'll hae to look that up. I love your vlogs so much and I find you feel totally comfortable to me! Keep it up chick!

  12. I love maps too!! Shadow and Bone has a map and it made me giddy LOL. I need to read more contemporary, too. It's out of my comfort zone and I assume I'm not going to like it, but if you gave it a chance then maybe I should too.... Cute vlog :)

  18. You made me want to read What Happens Next so much, I don't usually go for issue books but now I got it on top of my wish list!

And I hear you about books with maps! I like imagining it how everything fits and how the different places would look like, and maps are awesome helping me get there.

I hope you enjoy all your books :D

  19. I don't know why I thought you were British. But I DID. Think I even watched one of your videos before, and still this notion was in my head. I think that's, like, racist (because of the whole HP thing). Bad Princess.

Anyway, has anybody ever mentioned you have a compelling voice, even without the accent xD? Seriously, I feel like I HAVE to read What Happens Next now, and your review really caught my attention. Especially because it's not your usual read. And I NEED, NEED, NEED to buy Throne of Glass! I not only loved the book BUT I HAD NO IDEA SUCH A BEAUTIFUL MAP AWAITS ME!

I love, love, LOVED The False Prince. Small Review's book review of that remains one of my hands-down favorite reviews of the book, so much so I can't even bring myself to review it because it would fall well under par to anything she's already said about it. :D
